Coroner halts death probe

AN inquest on a steelworker crushed by a falling girder in a Barnsley factory has been adjourned for two weeks.

After three days of evidence about the death of John Mott, aged 47, jurors were told it must be referred to “another authority” before a decision on whether the inquest continues. He died at Bespoke Precast Ltd in March 2009.
