Coronavirus forces 'not viable' Doncaster pub and restaurant to close its doors

A popular Doncaster pub and restaurant has been forced to close its doors because it is ‘not viable’ to remain open during the coronavirus pandemic.

Pastures Lodge in Pastures Road, Mexborough announced the shutdown on Facebook.

The post said: “It is with regret that we have to announce with immediate effect Pastures Lodge will be closed for the foreseeable future, as it is not viable for us to remain open in this current climate, and our priority is to keep all of our customers and staff safe.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Pastures Lodge has been forced to close its doors because of the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.

“We will announce our reopening date as soon as we are able to and will continue to review Government announcements over the coming weeks.

“Thank you to all of to all of our customers for your continued support and thank you to all of our hardworking and loyal staff who have worked during this difficult time. Stay safe and see you all soon.”
