Copied song lyrics
On your letters page, Wednesday, January 20, you published a '˜letter' from Sonny Parkes, quoting a poem/song lyrics, which you headed, butter fingers.
May I point out that these words are actually song lyrics taken from, The Tips Of My Fingers, written and recorded by Bill Anderson in 1963, and not the correspondent’s original work.
Is your letters page getting so full of trees and bus timetable complaints that you have to resort to quoting random song lyrics with no relevance to anything?
