Cool Beans say fond farewell to Sheffield with party

After more than five years of hosting events in Sheffield, the Cool Beans Collective are bidding a fond farewell to the city with a final knees-up.

The collective has hosted regular music nights, stand-up comedy, radio and television shows, as well as managing up-and-coming bands from Sheffield since 2010.

But on Saturday, July 9, the collective will say goodbye to the city with a final farewell party at Yellow Arch Studios.

Cool Beans Chief Chris Arnold said: “I’m packing my bags to explore pastures new this September.

“Whilst the Cool Beans will still continue in some format, the parties will conclude at Yellow Arch with some of Sheffield’s finest DJs.”

The collective picked up national acclaim for their comedy TV programme The Cool Beans Television Show, which aired on SLTV and has since appeared on a variety of other channels.

They also host The Cool Beans Radio Show on Sheffield Live, have a monthly column in Now Then magazine and organise stages at Tramlines, Peace in the Park and Y Not Festival.
