Have your say

When Wisewood and Myers Grove schools were merged there was considerable apprehension and parents and grandparents protested. The buildings went up and looked the part. The hype and promises given were made to assuage any outstanding misgivings.

Reading The Star’s article about the failing school we can only stand back and say “we told you so”.

Living locally there are horror stories being told of poor teaching, lots of supply teachers, students being taught by Google.

Having two grandchildren at Forge Valley I am very concerned for their educational future.

When I contacted Paul Scriven at the time of the Wisewood closure he blamed Labour policy.

Can someone tell me now who is to blame for the appalling standards of the new Forge Valley Community School?

Pat Waistnidge , a very worried grandmother.
