Police say they are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a Chesterfield man missing from home.

Lloyd William Creswell was last seen leaving his address in Church Lane, Calow, at about 5.30pm on Friday.

The 52-year-old is white, about 5ft 10in tall, described as being of very slim build and with thinning hair. He was wearing a t-shirt, shorts and trainers.

He left home in his car - a bronze coloured Peugeot 307, registration YC03YMT - which police have also been unable to find.

Mr Creswell has links to Bolsover and Arkwright in Derbyshire.

Police want to hear from anyone with information on the whereabouts of either Mr Creswell or his car.

Anyone with information should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting incident 725 of August 1.
