Concern growing for missing Sheffield woman

Clare Ann Probert was last seen at around 2.55pm on Tuesday 18 February in the Meadowhead area, carrying bin bags.

“This behaviour is out of the ordinary and is quite a distance from Clare’s home,” South Yorkshire Police said of the sighting.

Clare is approximately 5ft 8 or 9 inches tall. Although she has red hair in the picture released of her, police say Clare now has peroxide blonde shoulder length hair that may be tied into a ponytail.

It is not known what clothes she was wearing when she went missing.

It is understood Clare has a distinctive walk and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen her.
