Commuters are facing chaos in Sheffield today because of a broken down tram.
Wheels came away from the track at Park Square when an out-of-service tram was being used in some tests ahead of the next phase of rail improvement works in the city.
Services between the city centre and Meadowhall were cancelled.
A Stagecoach Supertram spokesman said: “Wheels in the middle of the tram came away from the track. The tram remained upright at all times.”
