ORGANISERS of one of Sheffield’s biggest community festivals say the event has attracted so much interest it is full up with stalls, trade stands and car boot sellers.
Lowedges Festival will be held at Greenhill Park from noon to 5pm on Sunday, August 12.
Stephen Rich, of Greenhill and Bradway Tenants’ and Residents’ Association, said: “We have entertainment including B Vox choir plus acts coming all the way from Birmingham, Liverpool and even the Drakes of Hazard who are making their way down from Scotland.
“We had over 10,000 visitors last year and hope for similar success.”
Mr Rich said the festival could not accept any more stall holders or car booters because there is a restriction on capacity.
The festival has four arenas and will feature a dog show, medieval reenactment, music, dancers and birds of prey.
