Community celebration

Area forum officer Jack Peach says the evening will be entertaining and informative and local people will also get the chance to have a say about improving their community.

The evening begins at 5pm with information stands and refreshments. Royston Amateur Performing Arts Group will perform a brand new sketch about Royston at 6pm and this is followed by a “have your say” session.

The Royston branch of Barnsley Gymnastics Club will give a display at 7pm.

The community celebration event will be held at Royston Civic Hall in Station Road on Monday from 5pm to 8pm.

Two further events will be held later in the month.
