Commissioner gives scam prevention advice in city
South Yorkshire's Police and Crime Commissioner visited a Sheffield care home to give scam awareness advice to residents.
Dr Alan Billings visited Broomgrove Nursing Home to meet residents and talk about the need to be alert to scams, especially ones over the telephone.
Dr Billings said: “It is hard to put the phone down or to close the front door to unwanted callers, but there are times when we have to do it.”
