Come join in with Gumbo and raise cash for homeless

An indoor street party event will raise cash for Sheffield’s young people’s homeless charity, Roundabout.

Gumbo, a regular free entry fundraising event created by Sheffield man Jason Alston, will feature music from local DJs, craft activities, dress up and games for all the family, a silent auction and tons of food.

Since its creation, Gumbo has raised more than £3000 for charities in Sheffield.

The April Gumbo event will be held at Haggler’s Corner on Queens Road from 1-5pm on Saturday April 23.

Roundabout Fundraising and Communications Manager, Ruth Gage, said: ““We are delighted that the Gumbo team has chosen to support us in this way. This is a great way to spend a fun family afternoon and know that you’re supporting a good cause all at the same time.”
