Have your say

We want you to tell us what you want to see in your local newspaper so join us for a special event at Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre tomorrow

Star Editor Jeremy Clifford and our new Readers’ Champion Nancy Fielder will be there to hear your views.

They will be on hand between noon and 2pm to get your feedback on what you like best and worst about The Star. It doesn’t matter whether you want more sport, letters, features or reviews – we want to hear your opinion.

We will be rolling out a series of changes to The Star in the coming weeks and months so this is your chance to get involved.

If you know of a story we should be reporting, have an old photo you would love to see in Retro or just believe there should be more coverage in your area, come along. Or just drop in to say hi and find out more about our forthcoming plans.

Perhaps you think there is a burning issue which deserves to be in the headlines or a community which needs our support?

You’ll find The Star stand near the top of the escalators on the upper floor.

Anyone buying The Star from our team on the day will also get a free 25g packet of the new Setlers Mintee.

The event at Crystal Peaks is the first of many across Sheffield’s neighbourhoods.

Find out more in our Readers’ Champion page in Friday’s Star.

You can also get in touch and give your opinion by emailing or on Twitter follow @starreaderscham.

It is your local newspaper –make sure you have your say.
