AN ELDERLY pedestrian suffered serious injuries after a collision with a car in Cantley, Doncaster.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident involving an 88-year-old woman, and a silver Nissan Micra driven by a 20-year-old woman, on Thursday evening.
The car was travelling along Warning Tongue Lane, Cantley, towards Doncaster. Iis believed the pedestrian, in dark clothes, was crossing the road when she was in collision with the Micra near Gleneagles Drive.
The pedestrian, from Cantley, suffered fractures to her foot and was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary. The Micra driver, from Bessacarr, was not injured.
Witnesses should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 986 of November 1.
