A celebrity hairdresser has teamed up with Doncaster College to provide inspirational teaching to staff and students.
Infamous British hairdresser Lee Stafford will be bringing his personal flair to the region later this year, when the Lee Stafford Education Academy launches at Doncaster College.
The academy will be the only one of its kind in the South Yorkshire region, offering unique hands-on training when it launches in September 2017.
A spokesman for Doncaster College said: “We are thrilled to be working with Lee Stafford Education, it’s an exciting time for our learners, staff and employers in the locality.
“Lee is highly acclaimed in the industry and his fresh approach to hair education is welcomed by all at the college.
“This new academy will enable our students to excel in their learning, imagination and, ultimately, in their employment.
“The academy will aim to ensure that our students are the most employable in the country; as stylists/colourists or as confident employees in the careers of their choice.
“With over 600 employers already wowed by the Lee Stafford Education team and other partner colleges across the country, we at the college are proud to be revolutionising hair education in Doncaster.
“Staff at the academy will be trained by Lee’s very own handpicked team, making sure they’re always up to date with the latest trends and techniques. Studying here will guarantee that you’ll be getting training you can’t get anywhere else and giving you the best chance of landing your dream job.”
Hairdresser Lee added: “I’m delighted that Doncaster College and Lee Stafford Education are going to be working in partnership to deliver outstanding training to the students and apprentices across the region.
“Working together we want to inspire the next generation of talented stylists and to work closer than ever with local employers.”
