A new course to train the engineering managers of the future is to launch at a South Yorkshire college.
Rotherham College will offer the HNC general engineering course at its town centre campus from September.
The college’s engineering department, in the Clifton Building of the campus, is undergoing a major facelift and will be transformed into the new engineering centre of excellence in time for the launch of the couse.
Students joining the course from September will be the first to be trained in the state-of -the-art workshops and are also to work with top industry standard equipment.
The new course prepares youngsters for careers in the mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering specialist industries.
