College grants up for grabs

DONCASTER College is urging people to take up new grants from the Learning and Skills Council.

The organisation is rolling out its Adult Learning Grant scheme, which the Waterfront-based college believes will make a significant contribution to improving Britain’s skilled workforce.

It will be available nationally this summer following a pilot programme that began in 2003 in 24 areas of England.
