Club deal a pair of aces

SHEFFIELD FC made it two wins from two in the Unibond League Division One South as they came from behind to win 2-1 at Goole.

The home side took the lead when ex-Chesterfield striker Neil Grayson headed home.

Sheffield's David Wilkins had a penalty saved but they did equalisewhen Karl Colley headed home .

Sheffield snatched the points with three minutes remaining through Tom Jones.

late equaliser gave Stocksbridge Park Steels a 1-1 draw with visitors Belper Town in the UniBond League Division One South.

But the game ended with a mass melee that resulted in Steve Kennedy being sent off along with Belper's former Hallam striker Anthony Wilson.

Stocksbridge had goalkeeper Richard Siddall to thank for keeping them on level terms.

Belper went ahead when Rhys Powell tackled Danny Toronzak inside the area. The referee, some four yards away, waved play-on only for the assistant referee to signal a penalty converted by Toronzak.

Stocksbridge grabbed a deserved equaliser when Steve Collins headed home Mark Ward's near post corner.

Town went down 2-1 against Eastwood Town at home in the UniBond Premier Division.

Paul Mitchell gave Eastwood the lead when his shot took a wicked deflection off Kevin Davies.

Stewart Copnell equalised with a penalty after a Davies cross had been handled but Jay Smedley headed Eastwood's winner from a cross from Anthony Howells.
