Close-up on slave trade

BUDDING journalists and film-makers in Sheffield are being encouraged to add their responses to the legacy of the trans-Atlantic slave trade.

Schools and youth groups can submit entries as part of a national competition, The Big Conversation 2007. The contest is open to teams of youngsters people aged 11 to 14, and entries can take the form of a newspaper article, audio interview, or a short film.
