Cleaning bill is mindboggling
I wonder if EB Warris read in the national press last week about Big Ben being brought up to scratch?
He has written many times about getting the Town Hall cleaned up.
It’s been cleaned once in my lifetime and I am now nearing 84 years of age.
The cost of scaffolding alone for Big Ben is £2.5 million.
