Today’s Whitworth cartoon is a classic.
After reports of councillors looking at their phones, talking among themselves and generally ignoring the public who had come to hear a debate, your cartoonist once again hits the nail right on the head. Having a father warn his son that if he continues to be rude he could end up a city councillor made me laugh out loud.
It has long been a source of wonder to me how cartoonists can sum up thousands of words in one sentence and this is a perfect example.
Well done, Whitworth.
