The blue 1967 Volvo was taken from outside its owner's house in Crookes on Tuesday.
It was found yesterday in Tesco's car park, Infirmary Road, Upperthorpe.
The car is being examined by forensics experts
Owner Ana MacIntosh said the car suffered some damage but is 'in a fixable state'.
