Clamp down on bike riders
When are the police going to clamp down on nuisance bike riders on our estates. I live on Hackenthorpe and we have at least three bikers riding round with no helmets on speeding and doing wheelies.
Is it going to take a fatality for something to be done? You see all these Interceptor programmes on TV with police using unmarked cars and catching motorists doing wrong.
Ever since Birley Spa Lane has been resurfaced it’s been used as a race track, and to put an electronic sign up that smiles or frowns at you is pathetic.
You wouldn’t put a police officer at these spots to smile and frown at motorists. Will it will take another accident to get something done or nip it in the bud now?
