Claire's rain dance to put Indian sign over weather

HERE'S Claire Taylor dressed as a Red Indian doing the rain dance to keep the wet stuff AWAY from the Sheffield Fayre this bank holiday.

Claire is centre manager of the Norfolk Heritage Park where the event is being held on Sunday and Monday.

Claire borrowed the kit from one of the people who will take part in a re-enactment of the fighting 250 years ago recorded in James Fenimore Cooper’s classic, The Last of the Mohicans, between British Redcoats and North American Indians and their French allies.

Sheffield played a part in the battle because many of the knives and hatchets used in the fighting were made here.

Two more big re-enactments will take place over the weekend: an American Civil war display and medieval knights in combat.
