City stars unite for spring ball
The city's stars from the world of sport and screen will unite at a glamorous charity Spring Ball this month, in aid of Sheffield Children's Hospital.
The prestigious ‘Best of Sheffield’ evening, organised by the self-proclaimed ‘Fat Lads from Dore,’ will take place at Sheffield City Hall on April 18, and forms part of the group’s challenge to raise £75,000 for The Children’s Hospital Charity.
The black tie event will start with a drinks reception followed by a four-course meal. There will then be a Q&A with BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker, Olympic gold medallist Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill and three-time world squash champion Nick Matthew.
