TWO Sheffield baristas have got coffee-making cracked after winning a competition for their skills.

Komal Khan, aged 24, and Oliver Pontefract, 29, both work at Fusion Organic Cafe in the Butcher Works on Arundel Street.

The pair were declared the city’s finest purveyors of coffee at a contest staged at the Crucible Corner pub in the city centre.

The Caféology Barista Competition saw 10 teams of hopefuls being judged on their flair, originality, and technical skill.

The victorious pair will now get the chance to undergo further training to hone their skills with John Skinner, who is a top barista and coffee judge.
