City designer is shortlisted for award

Debbie Carlisle is one of six finalists in the Bridal Buyer Awards for Best Headdress Collection – an industry award that recognises British bridal designers who consistently produce the best designs on the market.

Debbie, who makes all her hair accessories in her Sheffield city centre studio and has her designs stocked in boutiques all over the world, has been recognised for her 2016 ‘Secret Garden’ collection of sparkling accessories inspired by the trailing florals and vines of the English countryside.

Debbie, who was also honoured in last year’s awards, said: “It’s a real honour to be a Bridal Buyer finalist for the second year in a row – it’s lovely to see my work recognised by top names in the wedding industry as well as by brides.”

The winner of the 2016 awards, in all 18 categories, will be announced at a black-tie awards dinner on Monday September 12 in Harrogate.
