Thousands of runners will lace up their running shoes and take to the streets of Sheffield tomorrow as the Asda Foundation Half Marathon returns to the city.
The scenic route will see runners start on Arundel Gate at around 9.30am before heading west out of the city towards the Peak District and arriving back in the city centre and crossing the finish line on Pinstone Street, near Sheffield Town Hall.
Tristan Batley-Kyle, head of events for race organiser Run For All, said: “We are tremendously excited about what will be our first half marathon of the 2018 season.
"One of the features that makes the run so special is the superb support the people of Sheffield give the participants. They generate a great atmosphere that is much appreciated by all those taking part as they make their way round this challenging route."
