ACROBATS, jugglers, clowns and trapeze artists will be entertaining crowds when the circus comes to Sheffield on Thursday May 12.

The Phoenix Circus will be at Endcliffe Park for six days, with performances by acts from around the world.

A team of Kenyan dancers will be putting on a limbo and hula-hoop display, while Mongolia’s Ulaan sisters show off their contortion skills.

Other acts include an appearance by British unicyclist Joe Hatton and daring Ji-Qiu Fang from China, who will be throwing a huge earthenware jar into the air and balancing it on his head.

The circus will take place in a heated, all-seated big top.

Kids’ tickets cost between £6 and £16 and £8 to £22 for adults.
