Church work set to start
URGENT repair work on a Derbyshire church gets under way next week thanks to the fundraising efforts of locals.
Scaffolding will go up around Dronfield Parish Church tower when work starts on the spire and stonework inside the roof’s nave.
More than 140,000 was collected during a 20-month appeal to fund the project called Aspire to Inspire.
Donations can be made by picking up a leaflet at the church, visiting the church office on Church Street, Dronfield, logging on to www.dwhparish.org.uk or ringing 01246 412328.
