Church visit to holy shrine
MISTERTON Parish Church is organising a day trip to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham on September 16.
Built in the 12th century, the shrine is where the Holy House is located - a replica of the home in Nazareth of the Holy Family.
Within the Holy House is an image of Our Lady of Walsingham, carved in 1922 and copied from the seal of a medieval priory which was closed in 1538.
