It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas...
People across Sheffield have been getting in the festive spirit at special events across the city.
A Christmas Tree Festival was held at Woodseats Methodist Church and included singing by the Abbey Lane School Choir.
The church also hosted a concert by the Coal Aston Combined Churches Choir.
Celebrations have also been held at Millhouses Methodist Church, which has put on a Christmas Tree Festival for the 12th year in a row.
Thirty-four trees decorated by local businesses, organisations and schools have gone on display - with more than 1,000 people expected to visit the display over the next few weeks in the run-up to Christmas.
A special launch party was held which included 70 children from Sheffield Performing Arts singing Christmas songs.
Visiting the Millhouses event is free but donations are being taken to support the work of the church and Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
