Retail giant Argos has recalled a children's scooter following the discovery that fingers could become trapped by the mechanism.

The Grow & Go 2 in 1 Sit 'n' Scoot converts from a ride into a scooter (and vice versa), but the the push button mechanism could provide a potential finger entrapment hazard for small children.

MV Sports & Leisure Limited have taken the decision to recall this product, and Argos have asked that customers return the product immediately to Argos for a full refund.

The product, which has an Argos catalogue number of 264/9555, can be identified by a batch code which is printed on a sticker affixed to the underside of the frame next to MV's address details. The batch code is: 6587/1
