Children create impressive Remembrance Project

Have your say

A group of children from Sheffield Inclusion Centre have created a display in honour of Remembrance Day.

Teacher Jean Dixon Bruce said: “I teach a small number of Romanian and Slovakian key stage three children who have worked so hard and taken an enormous amount of pride in their recent Remembrance Project. I have been teaching them about the meaning of the poppy they taught me that, in Slovakia, people wear yellow poppies rather than red ones - hence the yellow poppies in their display.

“They also included the Slovakian translation of ‘We will remember them.’ I’m so impressed with the work they did on this amazing project.”
