Child sex shame footballer Adam Johnson "crowned Doncaster prison pool champion"
Child sex shame footballer Adam Johnson has reportedly been crowned his prison wing's pool champion at the Doncaster jail where he is serving his sentence for abusing a teen fan.
The former England and Sunderland star, who is serving a six year sentence at Moorland Prison after being found guilty of grooming and sexual activity with a 15-year-old fan, has become an expert pool player while banged up, according to The Sun.
The newspaper reported that the footballer, 29, plays for 75 minutes each evening before lock-up and inmates have more than five hours free-time to mix and play games at weekends
A source was reported as saying: “Johnson is brilliant, but he you’d expect him to be good at ball games given that he used to play for England.
“There’s no animosity towards him and he even shows some of the less talented inmates how to line up their shots and improve their game.”
Last month he was told that he could not appeal against his sentence and conviction.
