A man has received a suspended prison sentence for arson and public order offences in Chesterfield.

Josh Healey, aged 21, formerly of Racecourse Road, Chesterfield, pleaded guilty to the offences during a hearing at Chesterfield Justice Centre.

The public order incidents occurred on buses on Beetwell Street and Cordwell Avenue and the arson attack involved an industrial bin outside a business on Sheepbridge Lane.

Magistrates sentenced Healey to 16 weeks behind bars, suspended for 12 months, and fined him £675.
