A memorial garden to soldiers killed in two world wars has been unveiled at a football club.

The monument at Chesterfield FC honours former players and officials who died in the conflict as well as people from across the borough.

Relatives of Gerald Graham, a former player who was killed in action in 1918, were in the crowd for the unveiling of the garden along with representatives from the Royal British Legion and Staveley Armed Forces and Veterans Association.

The garden is next to the community stand at the Proact Stadium.
