Chesterfield Canal Trust organises Easter boat trips

The Chesterfield Canal Trust will be running special sailings for Easter at Retford, Worksop, Hollingwood and Chesterfield.

On Sunday, March 20 there will be Easter Egg hunt trips every half hour on the Seth Ellis boat, from the Hop Pole pub in Retford.

On Friday, March 25, Sunday, March 27 and Monday, March 28 there will be trips on Hugh Henshall from the Lock Keeper pub in Worksop.

Trips on Madeline will run from the Hollingwood Hub, Hollingwood - home of the Chesterfield Canal Trust - on Saturday, March 26.

And on Sunday, March 27, there will be trips on the John Varley from Tapton Lock in Chesterfield, every half hour.

Easter bunnies will be onboard the boats and all children will receive an egg.

Adults will be served with a drink and a hot-cross bun.
