A Chesterfield band is set to perform a charity gig alongside a burlesque show in honour of breast cancer patients.

Ovacast is set to take to the stage for the Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline.

Band member Mark Hewitt, aged 32, of Laburnum Street, Chesterfield, supported Becky Measures, a Peak FM presenter who underwent a double mastectomy. The gig will be held at Real Time Music, Marsden Street, at 8.15pm next Friday, May 9, with support from dancers Reenie’s Rockettes.
