Chefs trained over health
COOKS in Rotherham's nursing homes are to get special training in providing healthy meals.
Dietician and former chef Ashley Kingsnorth will work with the homes to provide advice on nutrition and help them make the most of their catering budgets.
She said: "I have been working with nursing homes for four years now and have noticed that more training is needed.
"Nursing homes are now more aware of the important role their cooks play in caring for residents."
