A beer festival at Wortley Men’s Club went down a storm and raised a good amount for some worthy causes.

The event was the first of its kind held by the club – and raised a total of £2816.78, with proceeds being donated to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

A further £161 was raised on the night which will be donated to the Yorkshire Regiment Benevolent Fund.

Proceeds will be presented to air ambulance representatives at the club’s Harvest Festival on Saturday at 8pm.
