Cheaper buses to Fright Night

Have your say

DISCOUNTED bus travel is being offered to families visiting Sheffield’s annual Fright Night Halloween spectacular.

Visitors to the event, on Sunday, October 30, are being encouraged to use public transport by sponsor, Travel South Yorkshire, which has organised a discounted £5 day group ticket offering unlimited travel for five people including up to two adults on First services.

It will be valid on buses within the city and for people travelling in from surrounding areas.

South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive director general, David Brown, said: “We are delighted to be involved in Fright Night again. It is a great event that really brings Sheffield city centre to life, but with road closures and restricted access, it can be difficult to travel by car.”
