MORE than 300 people turned up to the first Sheffield and Rotherham National Childbirth Trust nearly new sale of the year, at its new home in the Magna Science Adventure Centre.
In all, £5,000 worth of children’s clothing, toys, pushchairs and other goods were sold.
Shoppers also tucked into tea and home-made cakes made by NCT volunteers.
Sale co-ordinator Gemma Hopkins said: “I wasn’t expecting this many people, so I’m amazed. It’s been brilliant.
“More than 300 people came through the doors.”
