Alzheimer’s Research UK Champion Lee Pearse, from Sheffield, visited World Duty Free staff at Leeds Bradford Airport recently, to help raise awarenss of the charity’s work.

Lee’s visit kicked off a new partnership between the leading dementia charity and World Duty Free stores nationwide.

The partnership will last three years, with World Duty Free pledging to raise at least £150,000 during that time, to help fund Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Dementia Research Infoline - an essential information service for members of the public who have questions about dementia.

Lee, aged 42, opened a dementia department with brother Andrew at Heeley City Farm after 12 years of caring for their mum, Valerie.
