Charity race for Charlie

Have your say

A DOTING dad will be pounding the pavements in a 10km race to help the charity which changed his son’s life.

Richard Green, from Grenoside, will be taking part in the City of Manchester 10km raising money for the Caudwell Children charity who have worked with his autistic son Charlie.

Charlie received biomedical treatment through the charity - a dietary intervention which identifies and eliminates problem foods, thus having a positive impact on the symptoms many children on the autistic spectrum can experience.

Now Richard aims to raise £2,000 to help another child receive the same support.

He said: “I can’t tell you how much this treatment has helped Charlie, he is simply a different little boy.”
