Charity offers special stars

Have your say

People can remember loved ones who have passed away by creating public memorials to them in Sheffield.

National charity Blind Veterans UK is offering people the chance to create a Star of Remembrance for their loved ones – a social way of celebrating their lives.

The charity says: “Choosing to remember a friend or relative through a Star of Remembrance provides a unique way of celebrating their lives with the charity’s community of supporters and members.”

People can choose to create either a physical tribute at one of the charity’s regional centres – in Brighton, Llandudno or Fulwood Road, Ranmoor – or submit an online star to the Blind Veterans UK Facebook page, which they can then share with their family and friends.
