The countdown to a charity music festival in Dronfield has begun.

Oakfest 2012 is being held at The Hearty Oak pub in Dronfield Woodhouse, on Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, August 26.

Proceeds will go Autism Plus and Hallam FM Cash for kids.

Each day will see eight live acts performing from noon until 8pm.

There will also be a host of family fun activities on offer including bouncy castles, face painting, stalls, tombola and raffles including the chance to win an Audi convertible for the weekend.

Food offerings include ice creams, a carvery and barbecue. There will also be a hot dog eating competition both days at 5pm.
