Charity boost from the Iggy bank

NORTHERN geeks The Young Knives are the final band booked to join veteran heel-raiser Iggy Pop for the Rock The House Live show at lovely Harewood House tomorrow.

A few tickets remain for the Leeds gathering with the Stooges supported by the daft hair of The Horrors, Sons and Daughters and Sunshine Underground, all playing for a good cause.

"I'm getting a big kick out of making music for the Children's Society," says Iggy. "All kids deserve a good childhood."

And Henry Dartnall, from Ashby de la Zouche trio The Young Knives, says:

"We are honoured and excited to be playing such an amazing show in such an incredible setting and to top it all, for a great cause."
