Music lovers can win the chance to take part in a pub crawl with two popular Sheffield bands.
The Crookes and Hey Sholay will join drinkers on the event staged by green travel campaign #notdriving to mark its partnership with Thornbridge Brewery.
Two people plus a friend each will travel around the city with band members, supping complimentary Thornbridge Ale in The Greystones, The Stag, Graze Inn, Hallamshire House, The Bath Hotel and Dada pubs.
Simon Webster, Thornbridge chief operating officer, said: “We are always keen to support environmental issues, and as a brewer with a retail arm, we are also acutely aware of the dangers of drink driving so this superb initiative delivers perfectly for us on a safety issue.
“We’re keen to help raise the profile of #notdriving so will do what we can to spread its message throughout our pub estate in Sheffield and throughout the country alongside the distribution of our beers.”
A minibus from City Taxis will take drinkers on the pub crawl.
The travel campaign aims to encourage use of public transport, walking and car sharing.
Applicants interested in taking part in Thursday’s pub crawl should visit www.facebook.com/notdriving or www.notdriving.co.uk and follow the entry instructions to be in with a chance of winning.
