Community groups across South Yorkshire are being urged to apply for cash grants available as part of a £50,000 fund.

The Sport Relief Community Cash fund is to support community groups across South Yorkshire as part of the Sport Relief flagship games coming to Sheffield in March.

Grants ranging in value from £500 to £1,000 are available to grassroot organisations in South Yorkshire that are doing great work to help local people living tough lives.

“The Sport Relief Community Cash fund is a £50,000 grant pot and grants awarded will range from £500 to £1,000. we are working with Sport Relief to make sure the funding goes to the groups that need it most.
